House Management

We educate foreign hospitality trainees in American hospitality and home management. Sauveteur Exchange, through partnership with Virginia State University places hospitality trainees with American host families for a minimum period of 12 months to gain a unique educational internship experience of a house manager for busy families who want a more organized home life.

VSU will provide Sauveteurs training in catering/event management, food and sanitary safety, professional development, family and consumer sciences, lodging management, basic culinary care Hospitality 101, Urban farming and agriculture training, American culture integration, and leadership skills. Our Partnerships with HBCUs provide Sauveteurs with a unique American cultural experience that aids in professional growth.
